When to use it: A married put can be a good choice when you expect a stock’s price to rise significantly before the option’s expiration, but you think it may have a chance to fall significantly, too. The married put allows you to hold the stock and enjoy the potential upside if it rises, but still be covered from substantial loss if the stock falls. For example, a trader might be awaiting news, such as earnings, that may drive a stock up or down, and wants to be covered.

The cTrader has a desktop and web-based version. The web-based version loads quite easily, and also has a new feature introduced into the latest version: the “cTrader Copy”. This is the social trading product of cTrader, and allows the beginner to copy the trades of successful traders from within the cTrader platform itself! This is a stunning innovation and has taken the concept of social trading to another level.

Options offer alternative strategies for investors to profit from trading underlying securities. There's a variety of strategies involving different combinations of options, underlying assets, and other derivatives. Basic strategies for beginners include buying calls, buying puts, selling covered calls and buying protective puts. There are advantages to trading options rather than underlying assets, such as downside protection and leveraged returns, but there are also disadvantages like the requirement for upfront premium payment. The first step to trading options is to choose a broker. Fortunately, Investopedia has created a list of the best online brokers for options trading to make getting started easier. As we mentioned earlier, sometimes an option gives you the right to buy a stock at a certain price, and sometimes it gives you the right to sell a stock at a certain price. And for every option holder, there's also someone on the other end who's on the hook if the holder exercises the option to buy or sell at the expiration date. Those are the basics of how to trade options.
Reward/risk: In this example, the married put breaks even at $21, or the strike price plus the cost of the $1 premium. Below $21, the long put offsets the decline in the stock dollar for dollar. Above $21, the total profit increases $100 for every dollar increase in the stock, though the put expires worthless and the trader loses the full amount of the premium paid, $100 here.
Any activity in the financial market, such as trading Forex or analyzing the market requires knowledge and strong base. Anyone who leaves this in the hands of luck or chance, ends up with nothing, because trading online is not about luck, but it is about predicting the market and making right decisions at exact moments. Let's say the price of the stock does, in fact, go up to $55 per share. Now, if you were to exercise your option, you could buy shares for $50, then re-sell them on the open market for $55 each. Trading forex can be an ultimately rewarding experience, but you must learn the ins and outs first. There is a lot of risk involved and this most definitely outweighs the returns for those who jump the gun and start trading without being fully prepared. Take the time to work on your education - it’s the most important aspect of forex trading.  Knowledge is power, and that power will enable you to make logical decisions and continue trading long past the time when a lot of players have gone bust.
A whole lot of traders only use micro and mini lots. The thing is, large accounts are using Standard lots as these can bring the most profit. If we use the dollar example from above, it would mean that 1 pip equals $10. If there is a 20 pip movement you would have an equivalent of $200. This shows great potential for both profits, and, unfortunately, losses. Like we already mentioned, Standard lots are only for larger accounts, and you would need to have a larger capital to be able to invest in these.

For example if an article is referring to the euro (EUR) trading at 1.3332 it's assumed the other currency is the U.S. dollar (USD).

What I try and do in all my books, is to level out you discover ways to apply that info that may make it easier to turn into a additional assured supplier. In any case, learning is all properly and good, however once we aren’t taught the proper approach to apply that info in a wise technique, then it is of little use. In the U.S., the National Futures Association regulates the futures market. Futures contracts have specific details, including the number of units being traded, delivery and settlement dates, and minimum price increments that cannot be customized.
