Two levels create the Forex market. The first one is called the interbank market. In this case, banks are the ones that trade. The second one is called the over-the-counter market, or just shorter OTC and it is the place for the regular traders and their FX activities. The most important thing before you even start trading online is creating an account with the Forex broker. This is the person who can give you the platform that you can use for further trading. When we talk about currencies, it is the US dollar that is majorly traded. It is estimated that more than 80 percent of the trades are covered with the US dollar.

If you are concerned about trading foreign currencies without the leverage, we can tell you that some great traders in the market do not use leverage. The following example will illustrate how this can still work. For instance, you buy $2000 with the 1600 EUR. So, in the worst case, if the price of USD drops by 50%, you are not bad. In this case, you are still left with 800 EUR. On the other hand, if you use the leverage ratio 100:1, bear in mind that you will lose all of the money. Even if you earn something without using the leverage it cannot be anything significant. Only wise decisions can lead you to serious profit.

Another possibility is to sell the call option to someone else before it expires, giving them the right to buy Purple Pizza shares at the below-market price of $50 per share. Since you bought the option when it had less value—i.e., when Purple Pizza stock was selling for less than $50 per share—you can potentially sell your option for a higher price and make a profit (not counting fees and commissions). In this scenario, you would make money buying and selling only the option; you’d never own actual Purple Pizza shares.
Risk/Reward: If the share price rises above the strike price before expiration, the short call option can be exercised and the trader will have to deliver shares of the underlying at the option's strike price, even if it is below the market price. In exchange for this risk, a covered call strategy provides limited downside protection in the form of premium received when selling the call option.

Leverage – Since most major Forex pairs don’t move more than 1% a day, Forex traders use leverage to magnify the profits. Trading on leverage refers to borrowing money from your broker in order to open a larger position size than your initial trading account size would allow. For example, leverage of 100:1 allows you to open a position 100 times larger than your account size. But be cautious when trading on leverage, as it magnifies both your profits and losses!
What do buying and selling currencies look like? First of all, there is always someone buying a pair of currencies and someone selling a pair. The process of making a profit by buying and selling goes like this: You buy US $3000 by selling 2000 euros. This means that you are predicting the value of the US dollar will increase against the euro. If you were right, then, another step needs to be taken to make a profit. You need to sell your US $3000 into euros. Now you will obtain more than 2000 euros. The process as you can see is quite simple.
When you’re ready to purchase some forex education, you will decide on signing up for an online course, possibly with a community membership aspect, or finding someone you admire and joining a one-on-one mentoring program.  The latter is the most expensive option by far but will provide you with highly personalized training and superior support through your early trades.  This option will be excessive for most, and generally people will be happy paying a subscription or lump sum fee for life-time access to an in-depth training course plus ongoing membership to a community with regular trading support.

Market, stop loss and take profit orders – A market execution order is used to open a Forex trade at the current rates offered by your broker. The trade will immediately be executed and you’ll have an open position on your account. Whenever you open a new trade, you should use stop loss orders to prevent large losses if the price goes against you. A stop loss order automatically closes your position once the prespecified price is reached. Similarly, take profit orders are used to lock in your profits after a trade plays out well and hits a certain price.
Forex Trading is the process of converting one currency into another. Usually, you exchange money for a good or service. In stock trading, you exchange money for shares in a company. In the Forex market, when we trade we exchange one currency unit for another currency unit. The American Dollar, Euro, and British Pound are all among the most commonly traded currencies.
There are many financial markets in the world, such as the stock, bond, and commodities markets, but few of them can compare to the Forex market in terms of daily turnover, trading hours, and opportunities. The Forex market is the largest financial market in the world and is open around the clock, from Monday to Friday. In this article, we’ll provide a Forex trading tutorial for new traders who are interested in joining this exciting market.
For traders—especially those with limited funds—day trading or swing trading in small amounts is easier in the forex market than other markets. For those with longer-term horizons and larger funds, long-term fundamentals-based trading or a carry trade can be profitable. A focus on understanding the macroeconomic fundamentals driving currency values and experience with technical analysis may help new forex traders to become more profitable.
In order to find a coach that you will enjoy working with, you need to short-list a bunch of programs you’re interested in then reach out to those coaches to start an initial conversation.  This is a gut feeling kind of activity so it’s hard to offer advice here, but basically try and gauge how responsive they are, how excited they sound about their course and forex in general, and how sincere they seem.  This relates to online training courses as well as one-on-one mentoring.
Most Forex books are 90% background fluff and basic encyclopedia knowledge found for free online and about 10% strategy of only theoretical value. In other words, most books are scams with ~20 reviews presumably written by the author and his friends. This book is 90% specific practical guidlines and only about 10% on the basics or Forex. The Volume-Price Analysis Couling explains, (VPA), is working for me consistently - since I bought the book I'm profting about 1% of my account value per day on 2-3 trades a day. I'm shooting for 10 pips a day profit and keeping my risk limited to 1% of my account, and Couling's VPA is working beautifully for me.... doing 1-2 trades in the day of EUR/USD and 1-2 trades at night with USD/JPY. I'm scalping off the one minute charts, using hourly and daily charts to set the stage. I'm playing it very conservatively because I've been disappointed with several other strategies, but I can tell you that the more indicators you are using and the more clutter on your charts, the less likely you will succeed, IMO. Price and volume tell it all. In some sense Couling's emphasis on volume is a rehash of classic tape reading from the 1930s and she reminds me of how Nick Darvas simplified a practical strategy, but the essential contribution here is applying these stock trading compasses to Forex. Many Forex traders have too much "knowledge" and will be more profitable using volume alone instead of bands, oscillators, signals, macd, moving averages, etc. This is a quality book.
Regulation comes first on the list because if a broker is tightly regulated, 70% of broker-related issues suffered by traders would have been solved. The forex market in itself may be unregulated as there is no centralized exchange, but companies who do the business of forex brokerage are under regulatory supervision. In the US, this job belongs to the National Futures Association (NFA) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Recently, the CFTC punished a forex broker and ordered them to pay $14 million in fines and compensations to clients for trading-related infractions. This is how powerful the regulation in the US can be and underscores the importance of ensuring that brokers are subject to regulation.

CURRENCY PAIR: The quotation and pricing structure of the currencies traded in the forex market: the value of a currency is determined by its comparison to another currency. The first currency of a currency pair is called the "base currency", and the second currency is called the "quote currency". The currency pair shows how much of the quote currency is needed to purchase one unit of the base currency.

Also remember that many forex trading strategies require fast reactions, clerical accuracy and nimble thinking, which may not suit everyone. You will also need to learn to master your emotions, keep your ego in check and humbly admit your trading errors while you remain resilient enough to pick yourself up psychologically and take a risk on another trade.
Forex is a portmanteau of foreign currency and exchange. Foreign exchange is the process of changing one currency into another currency for a variety of reasons, usually for commerce, trading, or tourism. According to a recent triennial report from the Bank for International Settlements (a global bank for national central banks), the average was more than $5.1 trillion in daily forex trading volume.
