For example, if you want to buy 0.8 lots of EUR/USD at the current market price of 1.1150 and using a leverage of 1:100 you need to have in your account at least $892 to open that position. In other words, with only $892 you can control a position size of $80,000 (0.8 lots) which is your buying power. Because of this, forex trading for beginners might be more affordable than you assumed.
Checking the reviews should be a good start in avoiding any potential scams. Another key indicator of a less desireable site or course is one guaranteeing or proposing outrageous returns.  Forex trading is a long term game that requires a sound knowledge of the concept and the application of logical strategies. All courses should be focused on teaching you about the forex world in general, and then include some of the coaches personal strategies that they use for trading.  Anything with a ‘get rich quick’ feel to it is not worth the time it took to download the page and you should stay away.
Regulation comes first on the list because if a broker is tightly regulated, 70% of broker-related issues suffered by traders would have been solved. The forex market in itself may be unregulated as there is no centralized exchange, but companies who do the business of forex brokerage are under regulatory supervision. In the US, this job belongs to the National Futures Association (NFA) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Recently, the CFTC punished a forex broker and ordered them to pay $14 million in fines and compensations to clients for trading-related infractions. This is how powerful the regulation in the US can be and underscores the importance of ensuring that brokers are subject to regulation.
I'll keep this short and sweet... if you are doing any Forex trading this book is essential reading. I cannot emphasise this enough. There are so many pitfalls out there and whilst describing a great, logical strategy for trading using volume this book also explains how to avoid many traps. It's actually scary at first when you realise how little about the markets and their drivers you know. Beware of the market makers! :)
Another possibility is to sell the call option to someone else before it expires, giving them the right to buy Purple Pizza shares at the below-market price of $50 per share. Since you bought the option when it had less value—i.e., when Purple Pizza stock was selling for less than $50 per share—you can potentially sell your option for a higher price and make a profit (not counting fees and commissions). In this scenario, you would make money buying and selling only the option; you’d never own actual Purple Pizza shares.

One practice that poses problems to all traders is lack of transparency among brokers. One of such practices is stop hunting. This is a practice of some unscrupulous market maker brokers who move prices using a dealing desk to stop out trades even when true market prices are still a few pips away. Forex Capital Markets (FXCM LLC) was punished some years back by the CFTC for this infraction. Beginner traders are usually unaware of such practices. Experienced traders usually know how to navigate these bumps along the way but this is not the case for beginners. Stop hunting, excessive slippages and platform freezes are things to look out for and where these occurrences are regular with a broker, you need to avoid such a broker like the plague. So Trusted forex brokers for beginners are those who provide transparency in pricing and other trading operations, thus providing a level playing field.

Options are contracts giving the owner the right to buy or sell an asset at a fixed price (called the “strike price”) for a specific period of time. That period of time could be as short as a day or as long as a couple of years, depending on the option. The seller of the option contract has the obligation to take the opposite side of the trade if and when the owner exercises the right to buy or sell the asset. More specifically, the spot market is where currencies are bought and sold according to the current price. That price, determined by supply and demand, is a reflection of many things, including current interest rates, economic performance, sentiment towards ongoing political situations (both locally and internationally), as well as the perception of the future performance of one currency against another. When a deal is finalized, this is known as a "spot deal." It is a bilateral transaction by which one party delivers an agreed-upon currency amount to the counter party and receives a specified amount of another currency at the agreed-upon exchange rate value. After a position is closed, the settlement is in cash. Although the spot market is commonly known as one that deals with transactions in the present (rather than the future), these trades actually take two days for settlement.
